All underages in Belarusian prisons attend secondary schools. When they finish high school they can work or apply for a university -- of course, after release. Also, the imprisoned can study at polytechnic colleges straight in their prisons if the ones are established.
Some school-leavers were released several days before their finals but they preferred to take the exams in the colony school because of familiar teachers and class-mates.
During ceremony of receiving leavings the leavers heard many warm words from their teachers. But the main sense of these speeches was: You have to prove that you are not just educated people, but people themselves.
