An aging Indian man Gurmit Singh (71) busy in working on a huge hand-written version of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh holy scripture which is also regarded as final Guru of the Sikhs in the northern Indian city of Amritsar, 31 August, 2009. Gurmit Singh has already spent more than five years in completing around 1301 pages and expects it to be completed within one more year. Scripting with a wooden hand-made pen, he spends around ten hours a day to make just one single page hoping it will be placed at the Golden Temple, the most sacred Sikh shrine all over the world
1st of September 2009 is going to be celebrated as 405th installation anniversary of the Guru Granth Sahib.
