Devotees worship Lord Narsingh on the way as they travel in different places of lalitpur. As per the legend the festival is celebrated to cheer up after the defeat of bad evils (demon) by good deeds(people/lord). It is more believed that Narsingh is evoluted to demolish the Hiranykasyapu (demon) by the prayers of Prahad(son of hiranyakasyapu)himself. The festival will start from Gabahal, lalitpur and it travels in many places ending at the point of start.
