An Ecumenical Christian Service hosted at St. Ulrich and Afra Cathedral in the center of Augsburg to commemorate the Augsburg Peace Festival. The sermon this year was given by Reverend Dr. Margot Kaessmann.
Trumpeter Stephane Belmondo from France, Guitarist Azhar Kamal from Pakistan, Bassist George Donchev from Bulgaria, Drummer Samuel Duesler from Switzerland and Xylophonist Wolfgang Lackerschmid from Augsburg, Germany collaborate for a night of jazz.
This open air exhibition asks the question, “What is Priceless?”, and invites everyone around to write their personal answer on plates that are wrapped in paper. The exhibit was featured at the 2012 Augsburg Peace Festival at Rathausplaz.
After rumours about an upcoming chopping of several trees and the deconstruction of the main station, 200 protesters blocked the site. Many of them left the blockade after several orders from police, some of them were arrested. 30th January 2012
