Coal miners of the Ciñera village clash after the strong cuts of the national government to the coal mining industry. Rioters created severe road blocks to keep police out of their village.

Police and miners face-off again in Ciñera due to an undefined general miners strike that has taken place for three weeks. Miners try to keep out police from the village with barricades and homemade rockets.

New road and rail blocks are created in Leon. The indefinite strike by Spanish coalminers over austerity cuts that began on 31 May, is escalating with more protests.
