The Marsden March is a 14-mile or a 5-mile sponsored walk between The Royal Marsden’s hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton. 3,700 people took part last time and raised an amazing £1.2 million to support cancer diagnosis,.

As Santa prepares for his busiest night of the year he has taken time out to visit the magnificent Grade II Listed Butterley Reservoir spillway at Marsden. Santa joins growing support for the campaign to save Butterley Spillway from demolition.
The grade II listed overflow spillway at Butterley Reservoir is one of the Victorian Society's top ten most at risk buildings for 2012. It is threatened with demolition by Yorkshire Water in their plans to upgrade the structure.
