Toronto Fire Service was called to a home in the Sheppard Avenue and Morningside Avenue area early Sunday morning where a home was consumed by flames. Quick work by Toronto Fire Service prevented it from spreading to the attached homes.

A Volkswagen Beetle car caught fire on Cayton main street in North Yorkshire while stationary and parked at the side of the road. The blaze was attended to by local Fire Brigade services and the cause of the fire was being investigated.
