The verdict for the murder of Marwa al-Sherbini, 31, who was three-months pregnant at the time with her second child, killed by Alex Wiens a Russian born resident of Dresden is expected on November 11, 2009. The initial lack of interest in the case by police and the media sparked outrage in the Islamic community. Protests are expected across the Islamic community especially in Egypt (her country of origin) and Iran.

MAS Freedom Executive Director, Mahdi Bray is in Cairo as part of the U.S. version of George Galloway's Viva-Palestina. The larger part of the convoy is headed toward Gaza from Grand Pyramids hotel Saturday morning around 10 AM. A smaller group to launch Sunday morning.
