The Mid-Autumn Festival, also called the Mooncake or Lantern Festival, is a traditional harvest festival that is celebrated annually by the Chinese. This year, the festival takes place from 11 September to 10 October.

The funeral was held for Venerable Beop Jeong, one of the most renowned Zen Buddhist monks, who had his writings published for more than thirty years. Over 15,000 people attended his cremation at Songwangg-sa Temple. Suncheon. 12th March 2010
