Personal Statement

Paul Harrison is Managing Director of Kilimanyika as well as consultant in natural resources management. He is a results-oriented advisor on protected areas management, sustainable livelihoods, market development in natural resources contexts, climate change adaption, and land management. Through well-developed research, strategic analysis and project management skills he focuses on developing livelihoods as well as private and community based activities, while promoting the linkage of environment, development and business concerns.

Kilimanyika is a made up a team of specialist consultants offering professional services in ecological and socio-economic development activities. Our core focus is the promotion of effective utilisation and management of natural resources in order to support both sustainable economic growth, biodiversity conservation and the capacity to adapt to climate change.

We offer consultancy services in project design, development and management, proposal writing, research and analysis, strategic guidance, communications and campaigns, and work with a range of clients to research, plan, implement and evaluate initiatives. These include stakeholders from agrarian, pastoral and fishing communities, local and international NGOs, the United Nations, governments and businesses operating in a variety of market sectors.
