Mario Pereda
Mario Pereda was born in 1973 in Bilbao.In 1996 started his studies in the Escuela Superior de Tenicos de la Imagen (EFTI) of Madrid, where attended General, Professional and Master in Photography courses.
He has worked as a society photographer, and also he has worked with the magazine 'AZ.Revista del Empresario'.Currently collaborates with Gran Angular Press and and develops several personal photo projects.Throughout his career he has participated in various group exhibitions and he has made two solo exhibitions in Madrid and Burgos.Moreover, his work has been distinguished with more than 25 awards in several photo competitions among them can highlight the following First Prices: XXV Concurso de Fotografía Turística Taranna (2009), IV Concurso Fotografía Torrent Jove (2009), XXV Concurso Fotográfico "Joaquín Gil Marraco" (2008), Panasonic Lumix Awards 2007 (August Award), V Certamen Nacional de Fotografía "Ciudad de Dueñas" (2005), XXVII Certamen Nacional "Palencia Imagen" (2004), II Concurso Fotográfico para Universitarios de la Cámara de Comercio de Madrid (2004), and XIX Concurso de Fotografía Caja de Burgos (1999).
