Israeli socialists have gathered a thousand strong Labor Day parade at the center of Tel Aviv, culminating in a rally at Rabin square. Several clashes have taken place with anti-communist activists who demonstrated in front of the rally.

Dozens of Jews assemble in Kiryat Arba near the grave of Dr. Baruch Goldstein, a doctor who killed 29 Palestinian Muslims in the Cave of the Patriarchs on the eve of Purim of 1994, and was subsequently murdered by the Palestinians.

Hundreds attended a memorial of Rabbi Meir Kahane, founder of the Jewish Defence League in the United States and of the right wing Kach movement in Israel. Kahane was assassinated by an Islamic extremist in NY. Jerusalem, Israel. 15th November 2011
