Personal Statement

Phurpu Tsering Gurung is a freelance Photographer, born and raised in Kathmandu. Its been 5 years since he started photography and has studied BA in journalism from Xavier international College in Nepal. He enjoys street photography and capturing the moments in the street. And has worked with Navyaata magazine from Feb-Oct 2010. Then he participated in a Workshop conducted by Photo-circle on 28 Feb 2010, which inspired and motivated him doing more onto street photography and visual story telling. And he loves taking portrait…“more that I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic then to love people and faces are interesting”.
