Saad Sarfraz Sheikh, 25, is a photographer/Photojournalist/Musician/Visual Artist/Poet/Writer based in Lahore, Pakistan.

I believe in creative expression and freedom. I use musical instruments, especially stick and hand percussion, and my camera and pen to express myself.
I grow in a turbulent and unpredictable land, where artist elements are very sensitive to the happenings around us.
But art saves us and gives us hope. I hope to make a positive impact and change stereotypes.
Not looking for fame or fortune, but would like to be appreciated and remembered by the masses as "someone who atleast tried".

I'm 25 years old, I started digital photography in 2002 with a Sony DSC-P72 and used it for six years. I then bought a Nikon D80 with a kit Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens in January 2008...

On Thu Jul 24, 2008, I bought a Nikon 70-300 VR, which I later sold, as it overlapped with a Nikon 80-200 AF 2.8, which I later bought in December 2008, on the day when Pakistani jets were scrambled to prevent a possible Indian airstrike, after the Nov 28 Mumbai Attacks...

I sold the D80 + kit lens on 22 January 2010...
Sold the Nikkor AF 80-200 2.8 and a huge manual focus Tamron 200-500 on 29/03/2010...

I bought myself a lovely Nikon D700 on 16/6/2010, and two days later, I got an AF 85mm 1.8 and 28mm 2.8 (18/6/2010)...
