Ashish Sharma

Ashish Sharma is a Photojournalist born in Kashmir currently based in New Delhi India. At the age of nine i use to shoot pictures using a simple film camera taking pictures of mountains and whereever is use to go usually i did carry my camera along with me. The inspiration of taking pictures i have got it from my father as he is a professional photographer in kashmir and use to have a popular photo studio in early 1980"s.I use to see my father taking pictures saw his slides,prints and that thing got me inspired to become a professional photographer at the age of 12 i got best photography award from eco friends a group who tries and save nature where i had shot some pictures of world famous dal-lake which was being polluted by the people and causing a damage to the famous lake. i use to continue my studies alongwith passion of photography watching the ongoing conflict in my childhood i decided to see this conflict through my camera lens now i have some great work on kashmir conflict and my news pictures have been published in many international photo agencies and Newspapers around globe.
