Athens Metro workers continue their strike. The metro employees went on strike refusing to be accessed to the unitary payroll that will low their wage to the minimum wage. Other public transport services go on strike to support the Metro employees.

More than 4,000 people rally in Athens to protest against racism and fascism. The racism induced murder of the Pakistani migrant Shehzad Luqman took even more people to the streets.

Public sector workers protest in Athens over cuts and austerity measures, which put their jobs at risk. Public sector workers announced a 48 hours strike starting on the 13th of December.

A few thousand demonstrated in Athens to commemorate the murder of Alexandros Grigoropoulos four years ago by a policeman. Multiple demos were organized. Later in the night clashes occurred, which ended in the area of Exarhia.

More than 20000 people demonstrated in Athens to commemorate the Polytechnic Uprising in Athens in 1973, against the military junta. The demonstration ended at the Embassy of Israel to protest against the recent attacks in Gaza.

More than 4000 people went on strike and protested over the austerity measures in Europe and Greece. Protesters carried multiple countrie's flags to express solidarity and chanted slogans.

More than 80,000 people demonstrate in Athens over the austerity measures contained in the third memorandum that was voted on in the parliament at the same time the protests took place. Heavy clashes occured with the riot police.
