Personal Statement

Currently Head Publisher at Demotix newswire photo agency and a humanitarian photojournalist with an interest in social, political and environmental issues that reflect in my personal work. My primary focus is on documenting areas of front line conflict, NGO work, economics and social advocacy using this to influence social and foreign policy.

I have backed this up with relevant volunteer work within the charity, media & event sectors and graduating with a BA (Hons) in photojournalism plus qualifications in business and management. This has all given me an excellent understanding and initiative to pursue a passion towards empowering people to have a voice.

I have keen interests in skydiving, motorcycles and Gonzo style journalism.
