Born in Germany,I spent most of my life on a whirlwind tour of the world. In my works I try to share the impressions I get of different people, places and times.
This international upbringing is also, ultimately, reflected in my chosen profession. When I'm not in the darkroom or on tour with my camera, I teach business English to employees of a number of different companies in and around Dusseldorf.Spending a great amount of time in such transient places as trains, train stations and the like, I try to capture the world around me with my ever-growing collection of old analog cameras.I guess I just like to experiment, be it with expired films, cross-processing techniques or vintage papers.I always search for that one special moment in the middle of a crowd.
