Personal Statement
I was never exposed to the artist life as neither of my parents can sing, draw or play instruments. However, they did expose me to travel and an eye for good taste.
I started a conventional corporate career, which rapidly became unconventional as I landed in Ethiopia in July 97 and stayed on the African continent for almost 10 years… half of my adult life.
18 months ago, as I was returning to Africa (with a camera this time, not a briefcase full of marketing jargon) I realized the pleasure I took in looking trough the lens. I couldn’t stop taking pictures.
Upon my return, I enrolled at the London School of Photography. Today, I take my camera with me everywhere.
