I set up Demotix with Jonathan Tepper to:
- Promote freedom of speech, political participation and civil society
- Change the way news is sourced and reported

The Notting Hill Carnival is the biggest in Europe, yearly bringing over a million people to West London. Following the London riots in August, there were fears that the carnival would turn violent, but the event passed off smoothly. 29th August 2011
