Personal Statement

A curious American couple on a journey around the world to explore life for ordinary people around the world. Our journey started in December 2006 after living in Prague, Czech Republic for five years. We thought it would take us 12-18 months to circle the world, but we quickly realized the type of exploration we wanted to do takes time. Two years on, we've only fully explored Asia. We'll travel through Central and South America in 2009 with Africa and the Middle East to follow in 2010.

Along the way, we share our observations and photography, with a focus on human stories, markets, and street food, at http://www.uncorneredmarket.com.
